S/n 0751GT was a unique Ferrari commissioned by Princess Lilian, Princess of Réthy of Belgium. The car's Coupé Speciale body, inspired by the 410 Superamerica series, also incorporated elements from the 250 GT Cabriolet and had its own distinct features. It had an elongated front with a flat, wide grille and small bumperettes. The headlamps were covered in a competition berlinetta style, and the rear fenders featured squared fins with geometric tail lights. Notably, it lacked the rear louvre vents common in similar Pinin Farina designs. Many of its design elements were later seen in the production 250 GT Coupé by Pinin Farina. Delivered to the Princess' home in Waterloo in January 1958, the car reflected the Princess' refined taste. Princess de Réthy offered the Coupé Speciale to Dr. Michael DeBakey, an American cardio-vascular surgeon and Ferrari enthusiast, during a hospital visit. Despite initially refusing the gift, Dr. DeBakey eventually received the car.
