The Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta, also known as the "Long Wheelbase Berlinetta" or "Tour de France", was a prominent figure in GT racing from 1956 to 1959, with 77 units built. Designed by Pinin Farina and constructed by Carrozzeria Scaglietti, it started with a 240 PS engine, later upgraded to 260 PS, and used Pirelli Cinturato 175R400 tyres. The model evolved through four series, with notable variations like the Series I "no-louvre" and the Series III with three louvres and covered headlights. The Series IV featured a single vent louvre. Additionally, Zagato produced five special "no-louvre" superlight cars. This model notably won the Tour de France Automobile race in 1956, 1957, and 1958, a success continued by subsequent Ferrari Berlinettas.
