Timeline

The one-off Ferrari 250 GT Speciale #0725GT was specially commissioned in 1957 by Prince Bernhard of The Netherlands. Its design shared similarities with the 400 Superamerica and 410 Superamerica series, yet it had unique details. Originally, the car was black with a green leather interior. In 1961, it was sold by Prince Bernhard to A.J.M. Van der Lof in Holland, who later sold it to Kirk White in Pennsylvania, USA. The car changed hands several times in the United States and was repainted dark red in 1972. It retains its notable 'AA-13' Royal license plates. A comprehensive restoration was completed in August 2001 by Paul Russell & Co. for the current owner. Since the restoration, the car has won multiple awards.
