Timeline

The Ferrari 250GT series saw various unique custom bodies, collectively known as Speciales, with one notable variant being the Aerodinamico. These cars were built on the short wheelbase (SWB) 250 chassis and featured a distinctive blend of design elements, combining the SWB front end with aspects of the 400 Superamerica, particularly its rounded-off rear end. Less than five Aerodinamico Speciales were produced. Among them, chassis 2643GT, considered the GTO prototype, is sometimes included in this category. Notably, chassis 3615GT and 2429GT were equipped with competition engines producing 270 bhp, while others like 2821GT and 2613GT featured the standard 240 hp V12. These Ferraris, which were not used in racing, merged the luxury of the Superamerica body with the performance capabilities of the 250 GT.
