The Ferrari 275 GTB, produced between 1964 and 1966, was a two-seat grand touring coupé named for its 275 cc per-cylinder displacement. It featured a 3.3-litre double overhead cam Colombo-designed V12 engine, producing around 240-250 hp, with an optional upgrade to 320 hp. Notable for its use of a 5-speed manual transaxle and independent suspension at all four wheels, the 275 GTB was Ferrari's first road car with four-wheel independent suspension and a transaxle. The body, designed by Pininfarina and built by Scaglietti, was typically steel with aluminium doors, hood, and trunk lid, with an all-aluminium body as an option.
