In 1966, the Series II "long-nose" version was introduced with mechanical and cosmetic changes, including a torque tube, revised mounting for the engine and transaxle, and altered front bodywork for improved aerodynamics. A total of 442 275 GTBs were produced, including both Series I "short-nose" and Series II "long-nose" versions.
