The 1963 Ferrari 330 America was a transitional model that combined the chassis of the 250 GT/E with a new engine, the 4.0 L Tipo 209 V12. This engine produced 300 PS at 6600 rpm, representing a significant upgrade in power from its predecessor. Visually, the 330 America closely resembled the Series III 250 GT/E, with the primary difference being an optional "America" badge on the rear. Equipped with 185VR15 Pirelli Cinturato tyres like the 250 GT/E, only 50 units of the 330 America were produced in late 1963 before the model was succeeded by the larger 330 GT 2+2.
