Timeline

In 1967, a 1965 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 Series II (chassis no. 07963) was transformed into a shooting brake by Ferrari importer Luigi Chinetti Jr. and American illustrator Bob Peak. The redesigned car, built by Carrozzeria Vignale in Turin and equipped with engine no. 09269, debuted at the 50th Torino Motor Show in a metallic green with a gold metallic roof. Repainted bronze metallic in 2017, it was initially offered for sale at Gooding and Co's 2017 Pebble Beach auction with an estimate of $700,000 - $900,000 but did not sell. It was later sold at RM Sotheby's 2018 Petersen Museum auction for $313,000.
