The 1992 Ferrari 348 Serie Speciale, limited to 100 units for North America, debuted at the Los Angeles Auto Show. It featured a 3.4-liter V8 engine enhanced with a free-flow exhaust and ECU modifications, boosting power to 312 horsepower. Notable for its 5.3-second 0-60mph acceleration, the Serie Speciale also had a wider rear track by 50mm and custom Pirelli P Zero tires for improved grip. Aesthetically, it boasted body-colored front and rear splitters, enlarged side skirts, a unique left-side front air intake, and a chrome prancing horse on the grille. The interior featured carbon Kevlar-backed leather seats, similar to those in the Ferrari F40, extended leather trim, and an individually numbered plate. Available in tb coupe (35) and ts targa (65) models, it is now a coveted model among enthusiasts.
