The Ferrari 348, produced from 1989 to 1995, was the last V8 model developed under Enzo Ferrari. Available as the 348 TB coupe and 348 TS targa, it featured a 3.4-litre V8 engine producing 300 PS. The design, overseen by Leonardo Fioravanti, was notable for straked side air intakes and rectangular taillights, similar to the Testarossa. Technologically advanced, it had twin Bosch Motronic ECUs, anti-lock brakes, and a self-diagnosing air conditioning system. Later models saw reliability improvements with Japanese electrical components. Distinctive features included a dry-sump oil system, adjustable ride-height suspension, and a design facilitating easier engine maintenance.
