The Ferrari 360 Challenge, a limited production of less than 200 units, was a track-oriented version of the 360 Modena, developed specifically for the Ferrari Challenge racing series. It featured an automated manual transmission and enhanced performance with improved acceleration, cornering, and braking compared to the standard model, thanks to aerodynamic enhancements, Brembo racing brakes, and a lighter exhaust system. The car underwent significant weight reduction by stripping down the interior, removing non-essential features like the stereo and air conditioning, and replacing standard seats with a single carbon-fibre racing seat and FIA-approved harnesses. Additional safety features included a roll cage and fire suppression system. Despite similar engine power to the road car, its race-oriented modifications provided superior track performance.
