Timeline

In 1968, the Ferrari 365 GTC and GTS succeeded the 330 GTC/GTS, primarily featuring an upgraded engine from 4.0 liters and 300 horsepower to 4.4 liters and 320 horsepower. The design changes were subtle, with the most noticeable being the relocation of vents from behind the front wheels to the bonnet. Powered by a 4,390 cc Colombo V12 engine, the 365 variants produced 320 PS and integrated the gearbox with the final drive for a balanced 50:50 weight distribution. They retained the independent rear suspension with coil springs and wishbones. A total of 168 coupés and 20 spiders were produced between 1968 and 1970, before being replaced by the Ferrari 365 GTC/4 and the Daytona Spider, respectively.
