The Ferrari 400 Superamerica Convertible, chassis #3309SA, is the last of just six open 400 Superamericas produced. Unique for its covered headlights and polished aluminium sills, it stands out as a "Speciale." Retaining its original factory hard top, this car debuted as the factory show car at the 1962 Geneva Auto Salon, subsequently sold in the USA through Chinetti Motors. It has a rich ownership history, including names like R.J. Stallings, Norman Silver, and Bob Grossman. Undergoing a significant restoration in 1974 and again in 2008, it was repainted black with a red interior, leading to an award at the 2009 Pebble Beach Concours. In 2010, it was auctioned by RM Auctions, fetching 2.7 million Euros, well within its estimated range.
