The Ferrari 430 Scuderia, successor to the 360 Challenge Stradale, was unveiled by Michael Schumacher at the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show. Designed to compete with the Porsche 911 GT2 and Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera, the Scuderia is 100 kg lighter and more powerful than the standard F430, boasting 510 PS and 471 N⋅m of torque. This increase in power is attributed to a revised intake, exhaust, and an advanced ion-sensing knock-detection system, leading to a higher compression ratio. The car's weight-to-power ratio improved from 2.96 kg/hp to 2.5 kg/hp. Key features include enhanced "Superfast2" shift software for the automated manual transmission, cutting shift times to 60 milliseconds, and a new traction control system combining F1-Trac and stability control with the E-Diff electronic differential. The 430 Scuderia can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.6 seconds, reaching a top speed of 319 km/h.
