The Ferrari 456, produced from 1992 to 2003, is a front-engine grand tourer, serving as the company's V12-powered four-seater replacement for the Ferrari 412. It was designed by Pietro Camardella at Pininfarina and came in two models: the GT with a six-speed manual and the GTA with a four-speed automatic transmission. Notably, it was the last Ferrari to feature pop-up headlamps. The 5.5 L V12 engine, a standout for its power, helped the car reach a top speed of 309 km/h (192 mph), making it one of the fastest production four-seaters of its time. This engine also earned the "over 4-litre" class of the International Engine of the Year award for 2000 and 2001. The 456's chassis was a sophisticated blend of tubular steel and aluminum body panels, initially crafted by Pininfarina before production moved to Ferrari.
