The Ferrari 458 Italia, introduced at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, is a mid-engine sports car that succeeded the F430 and was later replaced by the 488 GTB in 2015. It features a 4.5-liter V8 engine, delivering 570 PS at 9,000 rpm and 540 N⋅m of torque at 6,000 rpm, with 80 percent of its torque available from 3,250 rpm. This marked Ferrari's first mid-engine setup with direct fuel injection. The 458 came exclusively with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, a departure from traditional manual options. It boasts a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 3.4 seconds and a top speed exceeding 325 km/h, while maintaining a combined fuel consumption of 13.3 L/100 km.
