The Ferrari 458 Speciale, introduced at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, is a high-performance variant of the 458 Italia. It features distinct enhancements like forged wheels, a vented bonnet, finned side sills, a taller rear spoiler, and redesigned bumpers with active aerodynamics developed by the Ferrari Styling Centre and Pininfarina. These modifications balance downforce and reduce drag at high speeds. The Speciale's engine is upgraded to produce 605 PS and 540 N⋅m of torque, accompanied by updated electronic systems and the introduction of Side Slip Angle Control (SSC) for improved limit handling. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.0 seconds and achieves a Fiorano test track lap time of 1:23.5. Lateral acceleration reaches 1.33 g. Production of the 458 Speciale was limited to 1,309 units.
