The Ferrari 488 Pista, unveiled at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, is an enhanced version of the 488 GTB, drawing inspiration from the 488 GTE and 488 Challenge race cars. It features a 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, producing 720 PS and 770 N⋅m of torque, with upgrades like new camshafts, strengthened pistons, and Inconel exhaust manifolds. Notable exterior changes include front-end ducts and a large hood vent for increased downforce, relocated air intake tunnels, and a rear spoiler. The Pista is 200 lb lighter than the GTB, largely due to extensive carbon fiber use. Performance-wise, it can accelerate from 0–100 km/h in 2.85 seconds, with a top speed of 340 km/h. The car also features a Side-slip Angle Control system for improved high-speed handling.
