On October 28, 2009, Zagato and Ferrari unveiled a roadster version of the 575 GTZ coupé, named the 550 GTZ Barchetta, to celebrate their 90-year collaboration. This exclusive model, limited to just three units and based on the 550 Barchetta Pininfarina, included one right-hand drive (RHD) example. A notable difference from its predecessor was Zagato's addition of an electronically-operated roof. Each unit was priced at £1 million (€1.1 million/ US$1.6 million). In December 2019, the RHD version was auctioned by Bonhams for £575,000, including premium, with 2,700 miles on the odometer.
