The Ferrari F14 T, a Formula One racing car used in the 2014 season, marked a significant transition for Ferrari with its 1.6-litre V6 turbocharged engine, replacing the older 2.4 litre V8. Chosen by fans through a poll, its name reflects the year of competition (14) and the turbocharged engine formula (T). The car, designed by a team including James Allison and Luca Marmorini, was the first turbo-powered Ferrari in Formula One since 1988. Driven by champions Fernando Alonso and Kimi Räikkönen, the F14 T, however, struggled to achieve success, securing only two podium finishes and failing to win any Grand Prix. Its design featured a distinctive lower nose and retained Ferrari's pullrod front suspension, adapting to the new regulations of the 2014 season.
