The Ferrari F430 Challenge, produced from 2007 to 2010, is a race-oriented version of the standard F430, designed primarily for the Ferrari Challenge and the Rolex Sports Car racing series. It shares the same 4.3L V8 engine with its road-going counterpart but incorporates extensive modifications for enhanced track performance. These modifications include a significant weight reduction, suspension adjustments, and a racing exhaust system. The F430 Challenge is distinguished by its Formula One-inspired transmission offering swift 150 ms shift times and a cockpit stripped of comforts to reduce weight. Only 142 units were produced, and it's estimated that fewer than 50 remain due to their usage in intense racing activities.
