Timeline

The Ferrari F430, produced from 2004 to 2009, is a celebrated model in Ferrari's line of V8-engined sports cars, succeeding the Ferrari 360. It features a 4.3 L V8 engine, which delivers 490 PS in the standard model and 510 PS in the 430 Scuderia variant. This power enables the F430 to reach a top speed of over 315 km/h and achieve 0–100 km/h in about 3.6 seconds. The car incorporates advanced technologies such as the E-Diff, a computer-controlled limited slip active differential, and was the first to introduce the manettino steering wheel-mounted control knob, allowing drivers to adjust various vehicle settings while driving. Its design, developed by Pininfarina in collaboration with Frank Stephenson, evolved from its predecessor to improve its aerodynamic efficiency, making the F430 a blend of Ferrari's traditional styling cues and innovative performance technology.
