In 1996, a unique custom variant of the Ferrari F50, named the Bolide, was commissioned by the Sultan of Brunei and delivered within the same year. While it utilized the same F1-derived V12 engine and chassis as the F50, the Bolide featured a completely redesigned monocoque body. Only one coupe version was produced, predominantly in right-hand drive for the Sultan. This rare model remains shrouded in secrecy, with limited images and no official performance statistics released, and it is now known to be in the possession of a collector in Ireland.
