The Ferrari F50 GT, also known as the Ferrari F50 GT1, is a distinguished racing car, designed as a high-performance variant of the Ferrari F50, meant for the BPR Global GT Series. This exceptional model features a fixed roof, a large rear wing, a new front spoiler, and several other modifications for enhanced racing capabilities. It is powered by a finely tuned 4.7 litre V12 engine, capable of producing about 750 PS (740 hp) at 10,500 rpm and 529 N⋅m of torque at 7,500 rpm. Despite its superior speed, even outpacing the 333 SP in tests, the F50 GT project was discontinued. Ferrari, dissatisfied with the FIA's allowance of homologation special cars like the Porsche 911 GT1 in the series, and facing funding challenges, chose to cancel the project and shifted its focus to Formula One. Only three complete chassis were built and sold, with the remaining planned units never completed.
