The Ferrari FX, a custom-made sports car by Pininfarina, was commissioned by the 29th Sultan of Brunei. It utilizes the flat-twelve engine of the Ferrari F512 M and features a unique 7-speed sequential manual transmission developed by the Williams Formula One team. Production was limited to only seven or nine units, with most delivered to the Brunei royal family. However, after the Sultan canceled the delivery of the fourth car, it was purchased by Dick Marconi and is now displayed at the Marconi Automotive Museum in California. Despite its top speed of around 205 mph, Ferrari emphasized their focus wasn't on creating the fastest car in the world.
