The Ferrari P80/C, a bespoke track-only vehicle, was developed on special request, based on the 488 GT3, and is notable for its extensive development period, beginning in 2015. It's distinguished by its sports prototype-inspired bodywork, reminiscent of the 330 P3, 330 P4, and Dino 206 S, and lacks conventional headlights and taillights. The P80/C retains the 488 GT3's mechanical components but features improved handling through aerodynamic enhancements like a large removable rear wing, a significant rear diffuser, and a front splitter. The car's rear is mostly exposed, highlighting its racing character, while modified side air intakes near the side windows enhance engine airflow. It incorporates a wrap-around windshield for better visibility and utilizes carbon fibre construction to minimize weight. The P80/C is claimed to be 5% more aerodynamically efficient than its base model.
