The Ferrari Rossa, a concept car based on the 550 Maranello, was introduced at the 2000 Turin Motor Show to commemorate Pininfarina's 70th anniversary. While sharing mechanical components with the 550 Maranello, the Rossa is a 2-door speedster with a reduced top speed of 185 mph due to increased weight. Its futuristic design influenced subsequent Ferrari models like the Enzo Ferrari and the F430. The Rossa was designed by Ken Okuyama at Pininfarina.
