The Ferrari SA Aperta, a roadster variant of the 599, was launched at the 2010 Paris Motor Show as a limited edition tribute to designers Sergio and Andrea Pininfarina. The "SA" in its name represents their initials. Featuring the high-performance engine and gearbox from the 599 GTO, it boasts a 10 mm lower ride height, a thicker rear anti-roll bar, and recalibrated magnetic dampers. Distinguished by a slightly raked windscreen, larger front bumper cooling ducts, and a body-colored rear bumper, the SA Aperta has a removable soft top designed for city driving and rain protection. The model features an aluminum boot-lid, carbon fiber C-pillars with a silver finish, a modified exhaust system from the 599XX, and unique 5-spoke chromed wheels. The interior showcases a two-tone color scheme with standard sports seats. Only 80 units were made, commemorating Pininfarina's 80th anniversary, and all were pre-sold before the public reveal.
