The Scuderia Spider 16M, unveiled at the World Finals in Mugello to celebrate Ferrari's 16th Formula 1 Constructor's World Championship victory in 2008, is a convertible variant of the 430 Scuderia. It features a 510 PS (503 hp) engine, achieving a dry weight of 1,340 kg, 80 kg lighter than the F430 Spider. The chassis was reinforced for enhanced performance, incorporating carbon fiber and other weight-saving measures. The 16M sports unique 5-spoke forged wheels and larger front brakes for improved stopping power, similar to the 430 Scuderia. Capable of 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 315 km/h, only 499 units were produced and pre-sold to select clients starting in early 2009.
